Curtin University, Malaysia Campus.

Curtin University Malaysia is the largest international campus of Curtin University, a university-based in Perth, Western Australia. It provides local and international students with higher education in Sarawak, Malaysia. Curtin University Malaysia is a partnership between Curtin University in Australia and the State Government of Sarawak. We offer students the unique opportunity to follow courses from a celebrated Australian university right in the heart of tropical East Malaysia. Our internationally recognized degrees are exactly the same as those awarded in Australia. The difference is our unique location on the west coast of Sarawak, with 187 000 hectares of the coastal reef on our doorstep and the 140 million-year-old rain forests of Borneo in our backyard.

We are pleased to welcome you to Curtin University’s largest international campus as well as one of the largest and fastest-growing foreign branch campuses in the world. We were also the first foreign university campus to be established in East Malaysia in 1999 and currently among the top-rated universities in Malaysia under the Malaysian SETARA and D-SETARA rating systems.

We are located in a region of Sarawak famed for its natural wonders, rich cultural heritage and biodiversity, oil and gas industry, and emerging processing and manufacturing industries, and with over 3,500 students from more than 40 countries, we offer students a truly international and cross-cultural learning environment in a unique Malaysian setting. Inevitably, this adds a rich and valuable dimension to our campus atmosphere and also prepares our graduates to live and work in an increasingly global environment.
